Get involved · Support us
Four minutes. Two hands. One decision.
Whether you give twenty euro, an evening a month or your company's payroll giving scheme, it turns into the same thing: a trained neighbour and a working defibrillator, close to home.
Donate
Give once, or give steadily
Monthly gifts are what let us plan a year of workshops in advance. One-time gifts are what let us say yes to a village that rings us in March.
Other ways to give
- Bank transfer or standing order — contact us for our IBAN.
- Cheque or postal order payable to Munster Heart Foundation Charity.
- A gift in your will, or in memory of someone you loved.
- Payroll giving through your employer.
Charitable tax relief
If you donate €250 or more in a calendar year and you are an Irish taxpayer, we can claim an additional 31% from Revenue at no cost to you under the Charitable Donation Scheme. A €250 gift becomes €362.32. We will send you a CHY3 form — RCN 20081706.
Corporate partnerships
Make your workplace a place someone survives
We work with employers across Munster — manufacturing plants, hotels, co-ops, credit unions, GAA county boards and multinationals — on partnerships that are practical rather than decorative.
Heart-Safe Workplace
We audit your site, install and register AEDs, train 10% of your staff and re-certify annually. From €4,200 per site.
Charity of the Year
A twelve-month partnership with staff fundraising, matched giving, volunteer days and a named community project in your county.
Programme sponsorship
Fund a named programme outright — a county's schools module, or twelve months of a support group. Full impact reporting provided.

Volunteer opportunities
268 people already do this
All volunteer roles include full training, expenses, and Garda vetting where required. You do not need a medical background — most of our best trainers are farmers, teachers, publicans and retired guards.
Community CPR trainer
2 evenings a month · training provided
We fund and deliver your instructor certification. You need patience and a clear voice, not a medical background.
AED guardian
15 minutes a month
Check one defibrillator near your home, log the battery and pad expiry, and report faults through our app.
Support group facilitator
1 evening a month · lived experience welcomed
Hold the room, keep it kind, and make sure the quietest person gets to speak. Full facilitation training given.
Event & fundraising crew
Seasonal · a few days a year
Marshalling, registration desks, water stations, minibus driving and the great national skill of the raffle.
